St. Louis in June - Dodgers, Ohtani, and Good Eats

 

There’s something special about summer baseball and the energy of a new city—and our June trip to St. Louis gave us the best of both. From the moment we arrived, we knew this trip would be one to remember.

The biggest highlight? Dodgers vs. Cardinals at Busch Stadium!

As a new Dodgers fan, getting to see  the team play in person is always a treat—but this game was extra special because Shohei Ohtani was on the field. Watching him play live was honestly a dream come true. He brings such a unique energy and talent to the game, and seeing him in action felt surreal. There’s something about seeing your favorite player right there in front of you, knowing how much he’s changed the game and brought fans together. I’ll never forget that.

The atmosphere at Busch Stadium was electric. Cardinals fans are loyal and passionate, and even though I was repping Dodgers blue, the respect between fans made it even more enjoyable. It reminded me how baseball really does bring people together—no matter who you’re rooting for.

Outside the game, we dove straight into some amazing food. St. Louis didn’t disappoint! From lunch at the ballpark, The Twisted Ranch (they have like 30 different types) to brunch down the street at BLT's (GO),  we made sure to enjoy all the flavors the city had to offer. It’s hard to beat a city where you can have mouthwatering food all day and finish it off with a night at the ballpark and rested our head at the Hotel Lumiere at the Arch (SUPER nice). The Casino is just a hallway walk away. 

But beyond the stadium and the meals, what made this trip so special was just being present. Laughing, walking the streets of a city we don’t see every day, creating memories, and soaking in summer moments together.

Trips like this are what we live for—family, good food, unforgettable games, and our favorite players under the stadium lights.
